I love this book. It is original and beautifully written. The story follows a US marine named Logan who finds a picture of a woman which then turns into his lucky charm. He then tracks down this woman, Elizabeth and falls in love with her, without telling her about the photo. But then she finds out about the photo and their relationship falls apart.
Amidst this story is the story about Elizabeth’s son Ben. He is a shy young kid who is always scrutinized by his dad. Logan helps develop Ben into a more outgoing person and sheds happiness into the boys life.
I like the ending. It’s beautiful. All in all, this is another great Nicholas Sparks book full of love and tears. Please read it!
